The Bargain

Naïve law student and bride-to-be couldn't be more in love with her new husband, so when he wants her to sign some paperwork she jumps at the chance to make him happy. But when love turns sour, she must face the sting of betrayal and fight to come out on top.

Tricked into signing a document that is later identified as a post-nup, a once young and naïve Folake Seymour, struggles to keep her family together. Consumed by love, after letting go of two potential suitors, she finds herself in a one-sided marriage as her husband controls everything. When the marriage begins to fall apart due to Mr. Sey-mour's infidelity, Folake finds that not only did he force her into signing a prenup, but she stands to get nothing to support her children's accustomed lifestyles. With the help of her childhood friend, Deji, Folake fights to support her children and keep her family together.
