Money Game

James, a young widowed father of two girls, struggles to navigate a broken system, until he discovers the 'Money Game' from an unorthodox professor.

Set during the Covid-19 pandemic, this is the story of James, a struggling widowed father, currently working in a hospital. Nothing seems to make sense. Although the need for medical personnel is at an all-time high, his job is still threatened as he struggles to make ends meet while raising his two daughters. Meanwhile, Bryson, an unpleasant man he knows from evening basketball games, is making millions with a new social media app, 'TAPiT', where there is no real product but values are soaring, simply based on hype. James enrolls in a finance class at the local community college, in hopes of finding a way to a better life for himself and his family. There, he finds hope, both from the teacher, Professor Gardner, an ex-Wall Street money manager, and from another student, Aimee, a young woman with her own life struggles. When circumstances force James out of his job, he finds that he must trust himself, and, with help from Professor Gardner and Aimee, he starts to navigate the money game. In the process, he finds he is also able to pursue what really matters and find happiness for himself and his daughters.
