Judge Charles Coleman (Taye Diggs) and his paramedic wife, Eve are thrown into turmoil when their 20-year-old son CJ is finally given permission to drive the Judge’s pride BMW. On his way to enter the Police Academy, CJ is enjoying the luxury car while calmly driving within the limit like a police recruit should. Nearing the Academy, two White police officers, Clements and Carter, spot CJ, a young Black man driving the expensive BMW.
